DIY Crystal Photo Holder
Mark and I just had a little R&R at the beach in Cancun before his busy tax season started (he’s an accountant). I wanted to display our Persnickety Box prints from the trip in his office as a reminder that there is a light at the end of the long tax tunnel.
I came across rock photo holders on Pinterest and thought it might look cool to use crystals instead! Crystals seem to be everywhere right now. I have friends who collect them and friends who believe that they can direct healing energy. Here’s to sending Mark all the positive energy to get through April 18th of this year.
I already have my prints, and I was going to make a trip to my local Michaels for supplies but found everything I needed on Amazon and decided to stay in my warm bed! Utah is experiencing record breaking snow, bring on all the projects!
I wasn’t sure how these crystals would look IRL. Green is my favorite color and the fluorite is known for its vibrant green color, so I went with it. They turned out exactly how I had hoped!
I only used the wire cutter and bent the wire with my hands around the crystals and then made a loop at the top to hold the photos. It was easy peasey and took maybe 10 minutes to complete! My step-daughter is getting married this year and we’re going to make more for photo displays at her wedding.
There are sooooo many fun & creative ways to use your Persnickety Box prints! If you haven’t downloaded the free app yet, get on it! See for yourself how easy it is to swipe the photos from your phone and get your favorite prints in your hands. Rotate prints each month in your new crystal photo holders and of course, share them with us here at Persnickety!
